Description
Cortijo El Limon is set within its own small, private garden, with fig trees, lemon tree, olive and pomegranate.The bay of La Herradura is only 2km, other beautiful beaches are close by and mountains surround the property, with excellent opportunities for walking and hiking. The property is accessed via the owners garden and has the advantage of them being nearby to advise on all the best places to go so that you don't waste any of your precious holiday time.
This rustic property has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, a separate living room with fireplace a dining area which seats 4 comfortably and kitchen. There is local stone and wood floors, wooden beams throughout provide a romantic rustic setting perfect to experience a real Spanish holiday.
The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, microwave and utensils. The romantic, white, floaty bedroom has a stylish Moroccan double bed on raised platform which is accessed by a couple of steps on either side. There is storage space underneath the bed, a wooden linen press and a small wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bedroom also features andalucian style shelves which form part of the fabric of the building but are also suitable for storage of clothes and personal effects. NB, sorry, this bedroom is only suitable for able bodied people due to the nature of the bed
The fabulous swimming pool and sunbathing deck is available for guests to use every day until 6pm and a gas bbq is on hand for those preferring to relax at home. Access via tarmac road with some drops on one side. Pets are considered, smoking outside only please. Shorter stays considered, please enquire.
La Herradura is one of the few remaining unspoilt villages on the Costa Tropical that can offer a truly Spanish experience in a tranquil environment. The town is situated on the beach road with many outside bars and restaurants. Water sports, tennis, walking, sailing, horse riding and hang gliding are some of the many activities that are available. Granada, Las Alpujarras mountains and the Sierra Nevada are all within easy travelling distance. The nearest town Almuñecar is 3 miles east and Nerja is 10 miles west. Malaga 40 minutes.
