Cortijo Boo is located in Rio Jate, just 10km from La Herradura. There is a big shady terrace, with comfortable built in seating and mountain views, and access to a large garden and limitless country walks. A large open plan living/dining room with high ceiling and open plan kitchen give the main living area a spacious feel with stunning views. There is a dining table and chairs and a day bed/sofa that can sleep an extra person. A wood burning stove can be used in the winter months, and there is a TV and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with Gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Master bedroom has en-suite shower and WC. Opens onto sunny terrace overlooking the garden. Two further bedrooms, one double, one single, and bathroom with bath/shower and WC. Finished to a high standard, this is a comfortable family home, set high on a rock giving it a fairy tale quality, inspiring for artists and nature lovers. Completely secluded, it is romantic and peaceful, with a combination of rustic charm and modern comfort.

As the property is set high up on a rock with around 25 steps and a few steep drops, it is not suitable for small children (under fives) or the elderly. Part of the drive to the property is along a dirt track, which is not suitable for sports cars.

La Herradura is one of the few remaining unspoilt villages on the Costa Tropical that can offer a truly Spanish experience in a tranquil environment. The town is situated on the beach road with many outside bars and restaurants. Water sports, tennis, walking, sailing, horse riding and hang gliding are some of the many activities that are available. Granada, Las Alpujarras mountains and the Sierra Nevada are all within easy travelling distance. The nearest town Almuñecar is 3 miles east and Nerja is 10 miles west.
