What our clients say about Costa Tropical Villas
Casa Madrigal - CTV78V" Madrigal was a dream holiday for us, in no small part due to the property itself. It was peaceful, and furnished to a high standard. We often spent more of the day there than we'd planned to, since it had everything we wanted: beautiful views, tranquility, a lovely pool, and wonderful flora and fauna. The house is beautifully clean, and obviously well looked after, and Rachel was super on arrival for giving lots of helpful tips about the house, the town, and the general area. If the owners are ever thinking of selling, I hope'll let us know! Thanks "
Alan McMillan, August 2013
Casa Jose - CTV26V" We spent 2 very relaxing weeks. Thank you for making everything easy for us, like tourist information and welcome pack so that we didn't have to go shopping the first day, and quick departure procedure. The family appreciated the space of our very clean accommodation with great overview on the bay, and the lovely common garden. We had a very easy access to the private swimming pool, used everyday! Kind regards "
Régis and Jeanne-Emmanuèle, August 2013
Casa Tinker - CTV17V" This is the third consecutive year we have used Rachel and have always found the service provided by her and Costa Tropical Villas to be very helpful and efficient. Requests for information about villas and their availability are answered promptly and with accurate and fair information i.e. they are not over sold. This is important such that expectations are managed carefully and because Rachel has a first class knowledge of the area she can guide us toward the type of property/budget range that will best suit our family's purposes. Upon arrival Rachel is always prompt, helps you settle in and provides a welcome pack of food/drink which is much appreciated. If any questions/problems crop up along the way then Rachel is just a phone call away and all matters have been dealt with very quickly and with minimum fuss - exactly what you need when trying to enjoy a relaxing break. We would have no hesitation in recommending Costa Tropical Villas and Rachel to help you find and manage your holiday accommodation. "

Vista del Mar - CTV39A" Vista Del Mar, Abencerrajes, La Herradura. We booked to stay at Vista Del Mar in July/August 2013 after seeing the apartment on the Costa Tropical Villas website. While this was our third visit to La Herradura, this was our first time using CTV and our first stay at this complex. I was reassured by Rachel Langley's clear and prompt responses to my emailed questions, which is very important when booking somewhere for the first time. Advance information was comprehensive, Rachel met us at the agreed time and place after our flight and the apartment probably exceeded our high expectations. The view and large terrace are its key selling points, but we had plenty of inside space too for two adults with three children. The apartment was spotless and equipped far more comprehensively than the average holiday let - beach towels, fully equipped kitchen complete with consumables ready to go, etc -- and beds were very comfortable. Another welcoming aspect was a large library of English books, DVDs and family games, which made it feel like someone's home, rather than a bare rental place. A car is essential here, though the beach is walkable down the steep hill (going up is less easy...). Michelle came to check us out at the appointed time and was very relaxed at us overrunning by 20 minutes with frantic last-minute packing and clearing up. My only hesitation at recommending Vista Del Mar is that it may not be available the next time we would like to book it, which seems more than likely. Best regards, "
James v B, London, August 2013
Casa Ola - CTV53V" We had a lovely time in Casa Hola Ola. We particularly liked the wide open interior space, a rarity in most holiday accommodation, the pool access, the wifi (erratic and occasionally slow, but functional), and the well-equipped kitchen. We made ample use of the barbecue. Costa Tropical Villas were a model of professionalism. We were met punctually. The information pack in the villa was a useful source of local knowledge. We especially appreciated the welcome pack: arriving off the plane without having had the opportunity to shop, we were able to conjure a passable lunch from it contents. Kind regards "
Piers Spence, August 2013
Casa Luna - CTV30H" Having arrived in La Herradura we called Rachel to let her know that we had arrived - as requested on the 'arrival instructions'. Once she had finished helping another client at the Police Station in Salobrena she met us at one of the beach front bars and drove us to our apartment. She explained how everything worked and left us with a 'welcome pack' - bread, wine, tea etc to set us up for the week. The apartment was beautifully clean and well stocked with essentials - washing up liquid, loo rolls etc. Only one of the bedrooms had air conditioning so Rachel kindly dropped round a fan for the other one. Half our group unfortunately had to return to the UK early and again Rachel was kind enough to print out new boarding passes and drop them round to the apartment for us. The service provided was extremely efficient - from the inital booking process through to the meet and greet on arrival - and I would definitely recommend and use Costa Tropical Villas again in the future. Best wishes "
Ann Robins, July 2013
Casa Sara - CTV56V" For our holiday, our family comprised of three adults and two children. Casa Sara surpassed our expectations for both quality and situation. The accomodation and facilities more than met our requirements but this gave greater comfort and a feeling of space which other properties in this price range could not offer. The three balconies and pool terrace offered spectacular views to the sea from east to west and sunrise to sunset. We preferred to be away from the madding crowds of Nerja, etc, but the bigger towns, villages and other attractions, were within easy reach by car. The local beach, marina, bars and restaurants were within ten minutes walking distance, however, the children, a boy aged 10 and girl of 12, were happy to spend most of the time in the pool and watch DVD's in the evening. This allowed mum, nan and gramps to enjoy their books and a 'lemonade or two', mostly undisturbed. On arrival, the bottle of wine in the welcome pack was, indeed, most welcome. The property was clean and tidy and well equipped with no shortage of items like coat hangers, towels etc, which can often be overlooked. Rachel was particularly helpful with enquiries and advice before and during the holiday as was leading us to Casa Sara on arrival. We highly recommend the property, the area and the holiday company. "
Vic Hutchins, July 2013
El Mirador - CTV50V" Hope you are well. Thank you for such a lovely holiday! The accommodation was perfect! Very clean, incredibly well equipped, in a beautiful location and absolutely perfect for us. The welcome pack really helped us settle in after travelling. I felt that you couldn't do enough to help us, and made the process of checking in and out totally hassle free. In fact I'm so relaxed it seems a shame to have to go to work tomorrow ! We would definitely return, and will be looking to book next years holiday this September. Many thanks, "
Clare Donovan, July 2013
Casa La Colina - CTV34V" We had a great holiday in La Herradura, right from the booking Rachel was extremely helpful and she was always happy to answer questions. The directions from Malaga were perfect, and the welcome pack kept us fed and watered until the morning. Casa La Colina had everything we needed, it was very clean and the guide book had some good places to visit. Breakfast in the garden with the views to the sea was a great way to start the day. It was our first time staying in the area and we will definitely be back. Regards, "
Paul and Charlotte, July 2013
Casa Pava Real - CTV44V" Hi Rachel, on behalf of my family thank you for the wonderful welcome to Casa Pava Real. The welcome pack of wine, cheeses, cold meats bread and milk was so lovely and made everyone feel right at home as (for my girls) did the Sky TV and wifi internet access. The villa is beautiful, clean and well presented. The views are stunning and every one loved relaxing in the pool. I'd also like to point out the villa is in my opinion just the right location for a villa, at an elevation to afford the best views, a little removed from the hustle and bustle but not so far out as to feel isolated. In fact a car was not used during our visit and we were able to walk easily to the town centre and beach of La Herradura, which by the way is lovely and well worth a visit! We hope to be back soon, best regards. "
Tupper family, July 2013
La Vista - CTV27A" Firstly the booking process with Rachel at Costa Tropical Villas was painless and informative and very helpful. Clear instructions on what was required and very clear directions to La Herradura. On arrival in La Herradura we were met by Rachel and taken to our apartment where she gave us a comprehensive tour and a briefing as to the workings of everything from the kettle to the air conditioning and a list of where to eat and places to visit. There was also a “Welcome Pack” with all the basics, which lasted us for our five day stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped and the view from the balcony...........Wow. Rachel was always only a phone call away and when we realised we had left our phone charger back in the UK, she appeared with a replacement the next day. Departure at the end of our holiday was simple too. Close the door and hand the keys back to Rachel. A stress free holiday thanks to Rachel and Costa Tropical Villas. "
Jim Higham, July 2013
Vista del Mar - CTV39A" The service of Costa Tropical Villas was perfect, from the communication regarding the reservation to the friendly and professionel welcome when we were met by Rachel on arrival. The flat was perfect, clean, exactly as beautiful as described, and the fridge was filled with nice cold wine, ham, butter etc. We'll definitely use Costa Tropical Villas next time we're looking for a holiday rental. "
Pia Eriksen Ahlers, July 2013
Casa Sara - CTV66V" We had a wonderful holiday in Casa Sara. The house was beautiful and the view from all the rooms was absolutely stunning. Upon arrival we were greeted by Rachel, who introduced us to the house and all its facilities and offered us a wonderful welcome package with wine, bread, cheese etc. During our stay we had cleaning people, who changed the linens and the pool man came several time as well, so the service was excellent. The house had EVERYTHING!!! The only thing that you have to be aware of is that a car is needed. Even though the distance to the beach is less than 1 km. the steep hills makes it feels like 20 km when walking in the summer heat. Best regards "
René & Mette Dyrbjerg and family, July 2013
Casa Jose - CTV26V" Right from the start this holiday was hassle fee, great communication from Rachel who was more than happy to help with all queries even while we were on our holiday. We were greeted near the beautiful beach then escorted to the wonderful spacious apartment and a generous welcome pack of bread, butter cold meats, cheese and milk....Oh and a very nice bottle of wine. The apartment felt like home right from the start, all the comforts of home and not like just a holiday apartment. All the bedrooms are a really good size as is the living/dining room. Maybe my children missed having WiFi but as most of the bars had it there was plenty of occasions for them to catch up on their face book. The views from the large balcony were wonderful, at night you could sit listening to the crickets and watch the stars. The pool was a perfect temperature and several sun beds to relax on though we spent most days on the beach. The beach was always quiet, a few pebbles mixed in with the sand but that varied at different parts of the beach. Highlight for us was the tapas, every time you buy a drink you get a free snack but not a few olives or a dish of nuts but a plate of sardines, or Spanish omelette etc...we hardly paid for any food as after a few drinks you’d had the equivalent of a full meal. Only one down side is the apartment is up a very steep hill so we would say a car is a must, luckily we had hired a car from the airport, local buses are easily assessable and very cheap though. All in all a wonderful holiday and a beautiful peaceful Spanish resort, thank you Rachel. "
Marina Foley, July 2013
Casa Pava Real - CTV44V" There were five of us and we all really enjoyed our tenday stay in Casa Pava Real. Rachel Langley of “Costa Tropical Villas” gave us a very warm welcome and showed us round the premises. She even provided us with kind of starter-kit, containing fresh water, wine, bread, cheese and ham so that we could feel like being at home from the very beginning of our holiday. In total we just felt well looked after. If we had had any problems we could have give Rachel a call in order to ask her for help. It was all very uncomplicated, especially on the day of departure, when Rachel arrived on the agreed time and we could easily hand over the keys of the villa and start-off to the airport. The house is very well maintained and equipped. The only negative point about the villa that we could find at all, is that the matresses in the twin-bed rooms need to be replaced because they are no longer relaxing to lie on. Apart from that we were very pleased, that there is a good working washing machine, dish washer, coffee mashine etc. and things like sun-umbrellas and beach chairs available. The house itself really makes you feel like being in a typical Spanish villa. It is very cosy and the view over the bay of La Herradura is breathtaking and we could not have had enough of it during our stay. In total we all agree that it is worth visiting Casa Pava Real again. Best regards, "
Lars Husfeld, July 2013
Casa Carla - CTV28A" Had another fantastic holiday in Cotobro, Almunecar. The apartment was perfect. Excellent location, homely and spotlessly clean. Costa Tropical Villas is a company I have been using to book holiday properties through for many years now. They are always of a high standard and the company owners are friendly, efficient and have an excellent knowledge of the area. You are greeted on arrival and seen again at the end of the holiday to check that everything was ok, but they are always on call anyway. I couldn't have asked for more. Kind regards, "
Paula Maclellan, June 2013
Casa La Colina - CTV34V" Just to say how much we enjoyed our holiday in Casa Colina, the area was beautiful. The villa had everything we needed and was very clean, the outside area was brilliant with views of the sea and mountains. Your directions from the airport, meeting us and taking us to the villa even though it was nearly midnight were invaluable we would still be going round Malaga without you. The welcome pack kept us going till morning. Many thanks. "
Gwyn Barrass, July 2013
Las Olas - CTV19A" We had a lovely time at Las Olas in La Herradura. The apartment was ideal, right across the road from the beach, next door to the supermarket and walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. It was equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean. Rachel and Costa Tropical Villas were great, easy to deal with and Rachel met us with the keys on arrival even at 11pm! A nice welcome pack of groceries was provided for us which was much appreciated. Our departure was easy too, with access to the apartment until early evening which meant we could enjoy our last day on the beach. We would definitely recommend it and will be back. "
Lynne Burgess, June 2013
Casa Heidi - CTV80A" Our holiday in Casa Heidi La Herradura was fantastic. The house had everything you need for a good vacation, nice swimming pool, fantastic view, good kitchen, good beds etc etc. The meet and greet with Rachel from Costa Tropical Villas was very nice because of the good intructions for the house and the hints about eating, drinking and visiting the surroundings. What we also liked was how clean the house was and the welcome pack wich included some nice food and drinks to start up your stay. We wil return absolutely to Casa Heidi in the future again! Success! "
Guido van der Veen, June 2013
Casa Tinker - CTV17H" We really loved our week in Casa Tinker, an authentic Andalucian village house in the middle of the village of La Herradura. There was no need for a car if you don't want to hire a car. Easy bus links from Malaga and a five minute trot through the shady back streets down to the beach. Plenty of bars and cafes to eat in and probably the most generous and friendly tapas bar is just adjacent to the house (El Salon). La Herradura bay itself is beautiful and unspoilt with plenty of sports if you need. Rachel was very friendly and efficient throughout the booking process and made sure we were met and checked out on time. The welcome pack after the bus journey was very generous and included a great tasting bottle of wine. The weather was fantastic and really the week couldn't have been better. Satisfied customers and will return to any villas available with Costa Tropical Villas. "
Sally Chakawhata, June 2013
Casa Pava Real - CTV44V" We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Pava Real. The open space and rustic feel of the villa was complemented by the comfort of the furnishings. The long terrace wrapped around the front of the property provided a great view and yet more space for dining and relaxing outside. A thoroughly relaxing spot. Rachel from costa tropical villas looked after us well by providing clear instructions on where to meet, showing the property personally and even bringing us some bits to get us started, including wine! "
Simon Coulson, May 2013
Casa Heidi - CTV80V" Casa Heidi far exceeded our expectations - the photos do not do it justice. The views from every room and from the outdoor terraces are spectacular. This immaculate villa is extremely well equipped both inside and out. The modern furnishings are of a very high standard and we were spoilt for choice as to which terrace we would relax on, as the owner has thoughtfully provided comfortable seats and tables on every terrace on which to relax and take in the views. The service we received from Rachel at Costa Tropical Villas was second to none. Right from moment of enquiry, Rachel was both friendly and professional, providing all of the information required. We received a warm welcome from Rachel on arrival and she was also at the villa to see us off on our departure. The welcome pack and beach towels which she provided were most appreciated. I would recommend the services of Costa Tropical Villas to all our friends as Rachel went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely holiday. We highly recommend both Casa Heidi and Costa Tropical Villas and can't wait to return. "
Amanda Graham - May 2013
Apartamento Cecilia - CTV82A" The village/town of La Herradura was just right for us. It was unspoiled, quiet, with friendly locals and all the amenities you want on holiday. Apartment Cecilia is set above the town with great views of the horseshoe bay, both night and day, from the large, well-equipped terrace. A car is definitely necessary to get in and out of the place. The accommodation was spacious, also well-equipped and comfortable. The welcome pack provided was a real bonus especially if you arrive late or on a Sunday when the supermarkets are all closed. I would definitely stay in this place again. Best Wishes, "
Kathy Hill, May 2013
Casa Ola - CTV53V" Casa Ola exceeded our expectations. The villa was spotlessly clean on our arrival, and everything was just as it should be for a luxury villa in Spain. "
Keith Rands-Allen, May 2013
Apartment Marina - CTV89A" Rachel provided us with exceptional service at Costa Tropical Villas. She personally searched out an appropriate alternative after our initial choice was already booked out for the dates we wanted. The apartment was in a great location right on the beach and close to all amenities with good access. Very clean and spacious for four people, with off road parking being an added bonus especially on the busier weekends. We found Rachel to be very friendly, extremely helpful and being local to the area; she made the whole holiday very easy from making the booking right through to our departure. We highly recommend Costa Tropical Villas. "
Keith Jupp, May 2013
Las Olas - CTV19A" Las Olas is perfectly positioned, with views of the sea at the front and mountains to the rear, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay – including an extensive and varied music collection and lots of good books. Rachel at Costa Tropical Villas could not have been more helpful and her tips about the locality were spot on. Recommended. "
Magnus D. Carter, April 2013
Bahia Bella - CTV40V" It is with great pleasure to report that our stay of five months in Bahia Bella (November '12 - March '13 inc.) was most impressive. Not only because of the house itself, but also the every ready courtesy, competent and swift service rendered by the Agent Rachel Langley during our stay. She is an excellent credit for Costa Tropical Villas and we highly recommend her services. We shall certainly repeat our visit hopefully for a similar duration later this year. "
The Heappeys, March 2013
Casa Howe - CTV04A" This was a nice holiday, very relaxing. We felt welcome and looked after. We stayed in Casa Howe at the end of February 2013. It is a nice, clean, spacious apartment - 3 bedrooms, a balcony and bathroom upstairs; a big living space downstairs with an additional bathroom and a terrace; big kitchen with all the utensils. There was always space for parking on the street (or you can use the garage). There is a nice view in the road leading to the apartment of the whole bay. Rachel and her family were very helpful and friendly. She bought us some food and drink which took care of out first supper and breakfast as we arrived at midnight, and on a cold day she gave us electric heaters. Rachel prepared a list with a map of local tapas bars which were really good, as well as directions to all the places we asked about, and taught us what we needed to know about the rules of the road in Spain. She arrived exactly as arranged to collect the keys and see us off. We left some stuff by accident and she saw we got it back safely. The beach in La Herredura is really nice and clean. We went to local bars and the market and shops. All the locals were very friendly. The produce was very fresh. The Marina d'Este is worth seeing. There is a very nice bar right on the beach. There is lots to see in the area. We took day trips to Granada and went skiing in Sierra Nevada. We visited Salobrena, Almeria, Nerja and the lovely village of Maro. Thank you Rachel! "
Ewa Kellie-Smith, Feb 2013
Apartment Patricia - CTV10A" Just a few lines to thank you for our stay in La Herradura. The service from Costa Tropical Villas was excellent right from our first enquiry. The apartment was in very good condition and perfectly clean. The meet and greet along with you being contactable throughout the holiday is very reassuring. Finally the welcome pack was very welcome on our evening arrival. "
Barry McCarthy, Feb 2013
Casa Las Olas - CTV19A" The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, in fact just as described on the website. Rachel was very helpful and informative, responding quickly to a small problem we had. A very professional and friendly service which made our stay in Herradura very enjoyable. We will certainly use Costa Tropical Villas in the future. "
Sue Sudbury, Dec 2012
Casa La Colina - CTV34V" After an extremely long drive from the UK we arrived at Casa La Colina at 7pm 22nd December 2012. We were met as arranged by Rachel and were delighted not only by how immaculately clean the villa was, but also by the fact that she had taken the trouble to decorate a Christmas tree, which we thought was a lovely touch! We also had a welcome pack consisting of essentials like milk, bread, cheese, ham, biscuits and a lovely cold bottle of white wine which saved us having to dash out to the shops meaning we could immediately relax into our holiday. She even supplied a sack of logs for the fire! Casa La Colina is a lovely spacious house and has a secure garden which was great for our dogs as well as us to enjoy. The house is much bigger than it appears on the photographs and has a very well equipped kitchen, large lounge and dining area and full sized bath for a relaxing soak! We loved our stay here, the views from the garden are amazing and not only that, the property is close to the main town and beach meaning we didn't have to take the car everywhere. The villa is at the top of a steep hill though and has a plungeing sometimes slippery driveway so be prepared for that but we enjoyed the exercise after all the lovely tapas we'd had in the village. When it came to departure time, Rachel came to check us out of the villa and had infact provided a professional service throughout our stay - any little 'hicup' we had was no problem for her to sort out and she is very knowledgable about the area and therefore provided a very usefull information pack so we could plan our day trips and where to shop, eat out and so on. I would definately recommend Costa Tropical Villas to anyone and in particular the lovely village of La Herradura! "
Tina and Tony Barrowcliffe, Jan 2013
Casa Pava Real - CTV44V" We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Casa Pava Real and would most certainly return again. The service we received from the agent of Costa Tropical Villas was excellent and included easy on-line booking information, a well stocked welcome pack of bread, milk, wine etc. and very smooth departure service at the end of our stay. The villa itself was very clean and comfortable, with beautiful views down to the sea and heaps of Spanish charm! Kind regards, "
Helen and Steve, Jan 2013
Las Yucas - CTV12A" We just wanted to thank you for your great help in finding an ideal flat for us for the 3 weeks over Christmas. Las Yuccas turned out to be ideal: great location, beautiful outlook, perfectly spotless on our arrival, comfortably furnished and well-equipped. We also really appreciated your arrival package of food items to get us set up for the first day. We have rented before through other companies and they didn't offer even a grain of salt for us, so we were pleasantly surprised with the food items of bread, butter, coffee, jam, cheese, ham and wine awaiting us. A tremendously thoughtful touch indeed! Thanks also for your being there to greet us and showing us about the flat, as well as checking us out so promptly on our last day. We will be recommending your services to our friends in the future; what more can I say but many thanks again, and we'll see you next year! Best wishes, "
Doug, Jan 2013
Casa Heidi - CTV80V" Just a quick note to thank you for our fantastic holiday. Your service was great, from the moment we booked Casa Heidi till the morning we left to go home. The villa was top class and we'll certainly be in touch again about booking for summer 2013. Many thanks "
Brian, Lisa O'Neil & Family, Nov 2012
Casa Heidi - CTV80V" We stayed in Casa Heidi for one week in October 2012. Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer... This isn't 'a room with a view' but a house with a view, and a beautiful one! The house itself is light, spacious and clean. We had a very warm welcome, and loved it that Rachel arranged food and drinks for our first night! See you next time :-) Kind regards, "
Inge van der Stelt, Oct 2012
Casa Virginia - CTV56V" When we arrived in Almunecar we were welcomed at a meeting point, very easy to find when using the driving instructions. Rachel guided us to the house and gave a tour around the house giving some tips and instructions on how things were working. This was a really good service and made it possible for us to settle very quick and know how to operate stuff - no time spent on wondering :o) Also Rachel gave a bit of tip and advice on the area and the traffic. And she had shopped for breakfast for us! - We arrived on a Sunday with no shopping options. When we left Rachel met us at the house again to pick up the keys - good service again, we did not have to spent time om delivering the keys or anything else. The house fulfilled our expectations, and we really enjoyed staying there. All in all, good and very friendly personal service :o) House and everything totally fullfilled our expectations!Hope to be able to use your services again. Best regards, "
Ellen, Oct 2012
Casa Pava Real - CTV44V" Just a note to say how much we enjoyed staying at Casa Pava Real for the 4th time. Thank you for the efficiency and care with which you handled our booking and for your kindness in supplying a welcome pack of food and wine which was so appreciated due to Phil's late arrival on the Saturday. The villa itself was perfect as ever in spite of a few noisy pipes which you dealt with very quickly. As ever when we leave we start planning our next visit! Best wishes, "
Mary and Phil Earnshaw, Oct 2012
Las Yucas CTV12A and Las Olas - CTV19A" We really enjoyed our stay in both apartments, Las Yucas and Las Olas, which are comfortable, well-equipped holiday accommodations with a good location and great views. Moreover, the service of Costa Tropical Villas is really outstanding. For the quality of accommodation, level of cleaning, meet and greet service (welcome pack provided !), continuous attentiveness and efficiency of service our quotation is 5/5 - R&MC, Brussels, Belgium.
Kind regards, "
Rolf & Marie-Claire Meier, Oct 2012
Las Cuatro Temporados - CTV31A" We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at at Las Cuatro Temporadas this September and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Although there's plenty of restaurants nearby we tended to stay in most evenings so really appreciated the high standard of the kitchen and equipment - they appear to have thought of everything. The generous welcome pack (including chilled vino blanco) was a real bonus as we arrived quite late. We found the place to be immaculately clean and the greet and departure arrangements were both effortlessly efficient. Oh, and the views are to die for! "
James Chatt-Collins, Oct 2012
Casa Howe - CTV04A" A short stay in La Herradura. Fantastic house, large, well equipped and clean. Amazing value. Just a short walk to the beach and a number of quality restaurants and cafes. Met by a very helpful and friendly manager who was attentive and flexible and generally went out of her way to make our stay work, providing information as well as practical help when we needed it. I would highly recommend a stay. Thanks again Rachel. Best wishes, "
Paul, Oct 2012
Casa Howe - CTV04A" The apartment on top of the village is very, very nice. For this price it’s a large apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment is tiptop clean, at the top of the village but not far from the beach and the shops. There is a little market near the beach that provides fresh fish, fruits and salads at low prices. The seawater is crystal clear and the beach is indeed one of the most beautiful in the south of spain. Rachel is a very nice person. She gave us a warm welcome and answered very clearly all our questions. Thank you Rachel! And thank you for the wine on day 1 :-) We would certanly recommend this to all of our Spanish minded friends. It’s living between Spaniards especially in the little bar El Salon and the chiringuitos on the beach. Hoping to meet again, "
Paul en Sonia from Belgium, Oct 2012
Las Olas - CTV19A" We were very happy with the apartment from the point of view of cleanliness, layout and location. It is certainly a cut above the other places we have used in La Herradura. The meet and greet and exit were handled very well too and I certainly felt that had we had any problems they would have been taken care of immediately. We really liked the list of bars and places to eat that we might not otherwise have tried. We very much enjoyed our stay there and would certainly think of staying again. "
Graham Thomas, Sept 2012
Casa Tina - CTV08A" I just wanted to write to you to express our thanks at such a lovely apartment we stayed in at La Herradurra. It was a pleasure to book through yourselves and we found the service to be of such a high standard I felt it necessary to write and thank you. Everyone we dealt with were both polite and professional, the apartment itself was extremely well equipped and thoroughly cleaned, al in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Will look forward to using your services again next year. Best regards, "
Sarah Watling, Sept 2012
El Enclave - CTV69V" We had a fantastic time in the villa thank you. I asked the general group and everyone agreed the following: the level of cleaning was excellent, the meet and greet service was very flexible and friendly, the welcome pack was really helpful and provided useful information for making the most out of the visit. Also, the maintenance of the showers etc. whenever we had a problem was easily accessible and done quickly. "
Abbie, Sept 2012
Casa Heidi - CTV80V" We stayed at Casa Heidi in August 2012, a very lovely house with an absolutely amazing view! Definitely the best view from any villa we have every rented. It was really lovely to be able to sit out in the evening on any one of the terraces and have dinner and a glass of wine and just stare out to sea and watch the sun set. We found that Casa Heidi was very well equipped and big enough that we all had our own space, with kids in tow that's important to us! The villa was very well maintained, clean and comfortable. We received a very warm welcome from Rachel at Costa Tropical Villas who looked after all our requests throughout our holiday. We found it to be a very convenient location from which to explore the surrounding areas, Nerja was well worth a visit. Can't wait to book again soon! "

Casa Heidi - CTV80V" Casa Heidi situated in a quiet residential street in la Herradura, Malaga, was quite simply put "fantastic". It is a spacious split-level house, with great views over la Herradura, bushland and it’s bay area and a pool for your leisure. Bruno and I plan to come back 2012 because we loved Casa Heidi’s peace and quiet and its little luxuries beginning with Rachel picking us up in la Herradura - having organised cool drinks with snacks upon our arrival in the house and generally being available when we had more questions or needed advice.
Definite pluses are
- the many comfortable sitting areas inside and outside
- a well organised and stacked kitchen
- a booklet with instructions starting with amenities in the house, shopping in the area, maps, restaurants ………………………
- it’s reverse-cycle air conditioning (when temperatures hit 380 in summer, that’s an absolute must)
- toys for little and big kids to use in the rumpus room and pool
- the friendly gardener Pepe who tends to the pool and lawn once a week
- cosy rugs placed in the living room to use on the veranda when it gets cooler
- a working stereo & WIFI system to plug into, to brag to friends and family about the great time you are having in Spain
and last but not least, the great view! "
