We can arrange for upto 10 people to be invited on-board for an unforgettable trip on yacht 'Optomist', a luxury 45' ocean-going yacht anchored right here in the marina at La Herradura. Relax in comfort and watch the spanish coastline slip by as you set sail in the warm, crystal clear waters of the southern mediterranean.

Dolphins are a regular sight here and often swim over to the yacht....always an amazing experience.

Previous sailing experience is not essential, everyone is encouraged to take the helm and learn the ropes with the friendly qualified skipper before dropping anchor in a nearby bay to enjoy a delicious meal expertly prepared on board. You can have a swim, snorkel, use the dinghy or try fishing. We can even arrange some more adventurous water-sports incuding jet-ski, ringo rides, knee boarding, scuba diving to name a few. Then simply unwind and soak up the sun on the spacious deck.

Three golf courses are within easy reach of La Herradura. These are not championship courses but are located in beautiful surroundings and are substantially cheaper than some of the more prestigious courses around Marbella. Two examples are Moriscos at Salobrena and Bavieria at Torres Del Mar. Moriscos is a links course situated just off the beach with views of the Sierra Nevada. Bavieria is a beautiful course with sea views - both have excellent faculties. The courses are a 25 minute drive from La Herradura along the N340 motorway. Clubs and buggies can be hired.

There are many tennis courts where visitors can play. Two courts are available on Las Palomas. One of which is attached to our Apartments in "Los Girasoles". Another is located at The Marina Del Este. These can be booked in advance and are inexpensive.

Highly recommended is Above 'N' Below watersports and diving in Pena Parda. They can offer a range of exciting water activities from Jet-ski, ringo, wakeboards, knee boards to name a few. They are fully qualified in scuba diving and can even come to your villa or apartment pool to give you the experience of scuba diving in the pool.
